This question is regarding my '05 987 Boxter. I just purchased my Porsche a few weeks ago and have noticed that my coolant level keeps going down, particularly after I have driven. I've resorted to filling up with more water and OEM coolant. It's getting wasteful because the levels keep declining and there is obviously a problem, anyone have any ideas of the source of the problem? I'm taking my car in to the dealership in a few days, just curious as to what the boards think.

Expansion tank leaks were common issues on the 986, so maybe your '05 has the same problem. Do a search for coolant leak or expansion tank and you should find a wealth of information on how to troubleshoot.
