02 C2 cab 6 speed 22k miles...

Found a puddle of coolant on the ground today on the left side of engine. Look like it could be the CR tank but not certain. Read some posts here but most are 99 and 00 CR tank leak. Does any one heard of the CR tank leak on an 02 with only 22k miles and is this cover under warranty?

That happened to me awhile back and it left me stranded in the mountains of Arizona. Had my car towed to the dealer in Tucson and the technician found a bad coolant tank pressure cap. He also did a complete pressure check on the system and all was good. He also said the caps should be replaced about every two years to make sure it doesn't happen again. I think twenty dollars every two years is worth the peace of mind.

Thnx all, I checked with Newport Auto Center this morning and they confirmed that it is still under warranty. WARDHOG- you might be right about the pressure cap, it seems like the leak is from overflow to the drain tube and when I parked the car on a slope is when I can see it dripping.

I took the Porsche to Newport Auto Center this morning to have the leak checked out. Got a call back from them stating that the CR tank was bad and also found a bad RMS. He did mentioned that the latest parts will be use to fix the problem and will have the car back by tomorrow. Question...can they do an RSM that fast?
