Today, I hit the curb with my rear wheel while I was making a sharp turn. :(

I found out that the rear alloy wheel has a little chip and scratch. The damaged area is around 2 inches. Does anybody know if this is something can be repaired? If this is something can be repaired, how much would it cost? I hope it's cheaper than getting a new 19inch Carrera Classic Wheel. :help:

A wheel repair shop can definitely fix it. Check your yellow pages for wheel repair or ask your dealer for referral. I think there is one in Oregon that's good (can't recall name) but you're better of finding someone near by that can possibly do the repair locally to minimize downtime. Some even do mobile repair. For the chip, bondo is used to fill it. Then the area is sanded and repainted.

You can also DIY. Loren recently reposted the instructions

I had some rash on the wheels when I purchased my car and becasue I was scared to try the above I took it to the dealer who had a group come in and fix it for $100 per Wheel. They look great. I have since tried the above DIY method and it is easy. The important part is the temprature you paint at and to keep the site very clean.
