Repair costs at the Dealership

Recommended Posts

Ok I nearly passed out on the Porsche dealership floor. They handed me a bill for $1895.00 for doing a 60k service. Ok so I know that its a big one and that they change the belts and filter and plugs etc... BUT two grand!!!

That seems a bit high. Labor is $120 per hour I think...

Is this really high or is that normal?

On the bright side I am looking to take the car for a spin and feel the differance with new plugs and what not. Cars always seem so much better right after a service.

Thanks guys

:drive:

it's usually about 900 w spark plug change. this does not include brake fluid, fuel filter change which is often another $350. if you have other issues that needs to be addressed (tires, leaks etc), you are looking at more. the question is, what svc does your bill include for $1895?
