Oil Leak

Have an 08C2S (47K mileage) and changed my oil and filter about 200 miles ago. Noticed a quarter size spot of oil on the garage floor this morning. Drip appears to be coming right off the center of the filter housing. Appreciate diagnostic advice . Thanks in advance.

Mobil 1 oil and the filter was purchased from Sunset Porsche parts department. I torqued it to factory specs. Maybe I should just clean it off well and keep an eye on it. If still a small drip, maybe I should remove the filter housing and look at the O ring then? Thanks for the quick replies guys.

After you clean it the filter canister, use a bright light and carefully inspect it for any impact damage.  We have had a couple leak because something hit them and cracked the plastic housing.
