Recently had my air oil seperator replaced. At start ran a little rough now runs super rough and wants to stall. Changed 2 pre cat o2 sensors and mass air flow sensor. These are the current codes, 0112, 0300, 0301, 0302, 0303, 1316, 0102, 0130. Prior the car ran perfect and I cant believe I have all those cylinders misfiring because of plugs or coils. Please help -
Sometimes when programming the DME or Alarm control unit with the PST2 or PIWIS, you will get an error of "Test Step Aborted" followed by an error number, such as 3, 21, 25, 71 etc. I have the PST2 manuals, as well as the KTS manuals and the 986 and 996 Dealer manuals, but one thing I have not been able to find in any of them is a list of error codes that follow the "test step is aborted message" Sometimes, I have had the errors when I have put in an incorrect "old immobiiser code", or "old learning code", which kind of make sense.. But I often get the error when programming a control unit (yes I do have 14v onto the control unit and pin 60 powered up on the DME when it is a 5.2.2 DME) Has anyone ever found a list of the error codes and what they mean, or even worked out what they mean? When programming a DME 5.2.2 for example, I can often get to about 90 percent on the progress screen before it bombs out with one of these codes. The unit will still start the car etc if it bombs out, so I don't think it is a bricked DME, but I am just curious about the meaning of the error codes Anyone have any clues? or is my curiosity sending me towards a massive mission of discovery in an unwalked path? lol

I have a 2004 3.2 cayenne. During replacing the prop shaft (thumping on down shift) the battery drained flat and required a re-charge. when connecting the battery and trying to start the car i got a "brake proprtioning" error, and the car would not start. having no luck called the breakdown service who tool my car to an auto electrian who attempted to find the fault. attaching a diagnostic machine i was told it was the ABS swicth or ABS module, switch replaced but no fix. ABS module sent away for testing came back clear (well the company say they couldnt fully test, needs a main dealer) But i have been given the error codes from the garage, and the two codes are 0513 and 0524, whilst the brake proportioning error remains on screen. currently the car doesnt run does anyone have any idea what causes these errors, and does it need a main dealer to repair? or can an independant porsche guy do this? any help would be great thanks -
Hi All, I've owned a 2004 Cayenne Turbo now for a year and its a great car when all is working correctly. In the time that I have owned this car, I have been unlucky enough to receive a few error codes on the durametrics program I have or lately on the Rev Diagonistic tool I have for my iphone. I'd just finished fitting new parts for the fuel evap valve and a compressor rebuild kit, and re-setting all the codes in the ECU and all was fine, prior to going away, working abroad for 5 weeks, and all was good when I left. I've got back to find the battery flat (no shock there) but after re-charging it for a day, and going for a good long drive in the country, the car is now majorly playing up, giving me 5 error codes. These are : P0153 O2 sensor slow response (Bank 2, Sensor 1) - (Think this is fair enough, just wear and tear, getting old) but tonight I have this lot :- P0299 Turbocharger Underboost P0300 Random / Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected P0306 Cylinder 6 Misfire Detected P0305 Cylinder 5 Misfire Detected Now could the above four codes be caused by a poor battery? I've put my multimeter across the battery and it's only about 12.5v sitting idle, although when the engine is on, it's getting the full 14v from the alternator. I'm looking to go and get a new battery next week, but do I go and get it from my local porsche dealer?? or can I get one from the volkswagen dealer (normally the same part as a toureg, but cheaper) or do I go and get one from a parts store?? lastly, I was on the phone to my local dealer this morning and I was asking about coding or re-flashing the ECU, and thing led to another and we got onto the subject of the error codes, storing them and re-setting them. They said to me "when fitting the likes of the oxygen sensor, or the evap valve, the part has to be coded into the ECU". Is this the same as re-settng the codes using the durametrics or Rev app that I have? They also said that, some programs like the bosch systems can't reset the ECU properly and only the Porsche centre computers that the dealers use can reset the ECU properly & fully. Is this BS?, because this is the first I have heard of this? Thanks in Advance Regards Chris -
I received the following fault codes from running the Durametric Software on car and would greatly appreciate suggestions on how to address them. P1602 Porsche fault code 108 Supply voltage open circuit. P1319 Porsche fault code 62 Misfire emissions-relevant P1313 Porsche fault code 50 Cylinder 1 misfire P0300 Porsche fault code 75 misfire damaging to catalytic converter P0301 Porsche fault code 63 cylinder 1 misfire damaging to catalytic converter My car started idling rough and I discovered a bolt missing from the right header. Do I need to replace the catalytic converters? If so would replacing the cats with bypass pipes cause emissions problems down the road.
