Does anybody know if there is an available service manual for the 997.2? There are ads on eBay for service manual download covering 2004-2009 911's, but they really cover through 2008 with the M97. I can find nothing that covers the 9A1 engines.

Porsche  stopped producing the service manuals in print nearly ten years ago, so the only complete and legitimate version is via their PIWIS TSI subscription system:

To get the site:

- Go to porsche.com/usa

- Click 'Service and Accessories'

- Click 'Porsche Service'

- Click 'Technical Service Information'

You will then get the PIWIS TSI website and will have to sign up for a new account. Standard e-mail activation procedures apply.

This link is no longer on Porsche usa website unless I am missing something

Does anyone have a link that works, I have tried several from Internet searches but they freeze up or don't load.

The site is sometimes balky, for unknown reasons.

If you go to Porsche.com/usa and look per instructions earlier in this thread its not there.

When you use the link above through you end up with country code errors when you create an account and try to enter credit card info. Some threads have suggested entering through Porsches website avoids these problems but it would appear you can (as there is no link). If anyone knows how to successfully set up a PIWIS TSI account and get a credit card accepted please post instructions. Im having a heck of a time getting it to work.

I have much fewer problems with that site if I use Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser.

It worked when I tried just now but I have had an account for years.

Sorry to bring back to this old thread. I was trying to create an account and it asked for company and type of authorization, what do you guys use for these? or anything would be fine? Thank you in advance.
