  1. Aluminum bolts - so. hand tight then 90 degrees.
  2. CDC-3 is the CD player - you need the serial number of the radio. Please follow the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ and repost with the correct serial number.

  6. Sorry, that serial number is not coming up. Please check the serial number again.
  7. That unit was replaced by exchange units only in 2013. Order 996 642 205 X Navigation module US MSRP $984.18
  8. From the Lost Radio Code FAQ... "I get a WAIT on the display - what do I do? You have to wait at least 30 minutes before trying again."
  9. Always plug the fuel line after disconnecting it. Use a clean plug or clamped shut hose. Just plain good practice.
  10. Sometimes the magnet on the side of the shifter (normally glued in place) falls off and binds the shifter.
  11. No that is still a low number - most likely an accidental missed shift. Ranges 4-6 can cause engine damage but I don't see any signs of abuse in these numbers.
  12. The 6 ranges (for 997) are: Range 1 - 7200-7500 Range 2 - 7500-7700 Range 3 - 700-7900 Range 4 - 7900-8400 Range 5- 8400-9500 Range 6 - 9500 up You really don't need to worry about anything other than ranges 4 to 6.
