    Could be both a bad microswitch in the door as well as a bad interior sensor. I suggest you clear them all and see what comes back after a few lock - unlock sequences.

    Changing the mileage will depend on your countries laws. In the US you are not (legally) allowed to change an odometer reading once it has gone over 52 miles. You must them note the odometer/instrument cluster change in the car's title registration. But there may be other options that could require a PIWIS tester to change country code and perhaps miles to kilometers.

    Probably not. There is a service bulletin on the changes after 2007. Plus they are different depending on whether you have the stopwatch option or not.
