  1. Any car is going to have wear. The distances between parts increases with wear and that includes the oil pump. Your readings are not that far off - so I would just change the oil and see if it helps.
  2. Yes the alignment shop can do the mechanical stuff but you will need to reset the steering angle sensor using PIWIS, PST2, or Durametric.
  3. I think this is pretty basic stuff so re-programming the control unit for the headlights would be my first choice. Here is the basic wiring diagram and as you can see it is highly unlikely that both would fail at the same time.
  4. I think if you have air temps in the 90 degrees F I think 0W-40 would be better. Also, you may lose some oil pressure as parts on the engine wear - so if you are at or near 100,000 miles I would consider that drop normal and likely anotherr good reason for 0W-40.
  5. I would not rev the engine to 400 rpm if I had a low oil pressure reading - 2000 rpm should be sufficient. If you did hear knocking it it would be too late for the engine. This could be predictable if have low oil level or thin oil at high ambient temps. 1. Have you checked the oil level? 2. What weight oil are you using and what is the air temperature?
  6. Sorry, but Porsche only sells a "repair" kit which looks to be all blanks in a new console piece. About $333.00 (latest p/n revision 991-613-961-07-DML)
  7. If that TSB has never been performed on your car then the dealer should do that - for free. I would start there but be aware it still could be the control module which may require a PIWIS to exchange.
  8. IPAS codes allow you to program or re-program several controllers in the car. Here is an example with the actual codes hidden.
  9. I would not buy a new module without trying to re-program the existing modules. You will need a PST2 or PIWIS tester along with your car's IPAS codes. You can get a copy of your car's IPAS codes from any Porsche dealer/OPC for free - do not let them charge for this. Once you have them you can re-program any module and door/ignition keys with a PST2 or PIWIS tester - so protect them.
  10. You are correct P1222 is the front passenger SIDE airbag. So it should be under the seat neat the passenger door.
  11. The one under the seat is for the side curtain airbag. I thought you wanted the front airbag sensor (behind the grill/bumper?
