  1. Have a second person push down on the hood (logo) while you try pulling the cable.
  2. Brown - ground - Terminal 31 Yellow/Black - telephone mute Green/Black - switched 12 volts - Terminal 15 Red/Green - unswitched 12 volts - Terminal 30 This connector is right behind the HVAC control in the center console on all USA/Canada cars (telephone prep).
  3. Sorry, no I don't know of any other choices for Alpine.
  4. Sorry, Alpine is not on the list of radios my program supports. Becker and Blaupunkt only.
  5. P95 was only for the anniversary model in MY2004. PM me your VIN and I can double check your car's "build" options.
  6. Fault code 1738 Airbag sensor (driver's) - Fault code 1739 Airbag sensor (passenger's) Possible cause of fault ♦ Implausible signal (incorrect airbag sensor installed) ♦ Open circuit (based on wiring between airbag triggering unit and airbag sensor or the airbag sensor itself) ♦ Electrical fault in electric circuit (based on wiring between airbag triggering unit and airbag sensor; probably a short circuit to B+ or a short circuit to ground) ♦ Faulty (airbag sensor is faulty) ♦ Airbag triggering unit faulty
  7. Your PET is dated January 24, 2010 -- mine is dated August 1, 2021. Parts change as well as availability. The cover disc is small cost for extra insurance - IMHO.
  8. I would not do that. The correct part number for the idler pulley (for your car) is: 996 102 118 56. The cover disc keeps dirt and water out of the pulley. If the tensioner pulley does not wobble or make noise there is no need to replace it.
  9. Your car is a 6 speed? If so you can use 997 102 119 00 Idler Pulley - US MSRP $152.48 I would also replace the cover disc and bolt. 996 102 127 54 Cover Disc - US MSRP $13.07 900 378 150 01 Bolt - US MSRP $2.90
  10. 996 541 531 01 Sealing Frame - US MSRP $47.27 996 541 541 02 Decorative Frame - US MSRP $82.22 Be sure the correct adhesives are used when sealing. Porsche sells (an expensive) kit 000 043 305 35 US MSRP $169.67 Many here have had a good experience with Safelite.
