  4. The mirror heating is part of the door control unit. You may likely need a PIWIS tester to further diagnose or to reprogram the door CU.
  5. 6689 – Door Mirrors The door mirrors have been completely redesigned and represent a key element of the new exterior styling. The mirrors are connected to the mirror attachment point mount by way of a double arm. The design of the mirror housing has been revised, enabling the mirror glass to be positioned deeper inside the housing. The mirror glass itself is now protected more effectively from turbulence and possible vibrations at high speeds. Both door mirrors are electrically heated and adjustable and, in the case of fully electric sports seats or adaptive sports seats, are connected to the memory function. On request, both door mirrors and the interior rearview mirror can be provided with an automatic an anti-dazzle function (optional in combination with the rain sensor).
  6. If it did not work then try again - please read the Lost Radio Code FAQ for the "Wait" message. If it still does not work then it is likely that the radio was repaired by a 3rd party and the serial number was not reset properly. In those cases Becker may be able to help (for a price).

  8. Yes. Esso is a trading name for ExxonMobil and its related companies.
  9. Yes, AISIN is the manufacturer of the Cayenne transmission and the original fluid.
  10. Mobil ATF 3309 is recommended for use in transmissions requiring fluids of JWS 3309 or GM 9986195 quality levels. AISIN Automatic Transmission Fluid Type T-IV (ATF-0T4) JWS3309 (AISIN is the OEM transmission for Cayenne) Volkswagen and Volvo also used these transmissions so they should sell the ATF also.
  11. I think it is still best to stick with approved ATF oils. Esso should be available at much lower than Porsche OPC costs.
  12. "If two batteries are fitted to the vehicle (main battery and backup battery), these are connected or disconnected to the bus bar in the power distributor through a relay. The switching of the two batteries is controlled independent of the load management (function is integrated in the vehicle electrical system control unit). The starter relay of the 2nd battery is actuated parallel to the starter relay. That means for every start the starter is supplied from both batteries. The backup battery is disconnected from the vehicle electrical system when the engine is switched off and then supplies just one consumer, the vehicle electrical system control unit." Unless those old batteries have been load tested there is no way to know if they can handle starter loads. I would still get at least one new battery and give it a try.
