  1. Try 0214
  2. O-ring (on oil filter canister) proper placed?
  3. Completely different pump/drive - but you are welcome to try it.
  4. Try 1098
  5. Did you follow the Lost Radio Code FAQ to get the correct serial number?
  6. Try 9615
  7. Of course the GT3 is a completely different engine. My guess is weight, strength, heat transfer, and cost. The aluminum intake on the X51 package is about four times the cost of the stock.
  8. It does not show on the Porsche parts list - which means they do not sell that part. Your best hope is a salvage yard - the pump changed in MY04 so look for a pre 2004 model year 996 or 996TT Cabriolet.
  9. There is no fill plug (or hole) on a MY1999 996 (see the DIY here).
  10. You have already posted this twice and your first duplicate has been removed. Per the site Guidelines/Rules... this topic is another duplicate and is closed. 11. Stock fenders - no rubbing anywhere. My rear wheels are 10 inch x 18 x 65 mm offset. My front wheels are 8 inch x 18 x 52 mm offset.
  12. Likewise I have them on my 1999 C2... Name: Sumitomo HTR Z III Tires Description: No description provided. Vehicle Owner: Loren Category: Wheels / Tires Date Added: August 13, 2003 - 03:55 PM Date Updated: July 23, 2012 - 09:52 AM Cost Price: $ 925 Install Price:$ 0 Rating: 10/10 Comments: Front: 235/40ZR x 18<br>Rear: 295/30ZR x 18
  13. When I say OEM I mean meets or exceeds Porsche specs. So the right Beru should work. You can always get a great discount at Sunset Porsche in Oregon - be sure and tell that RennTech.org sent you.
  14. I would stick with the Porsche OEM coil packs. Porsche is on the 3rd or 4th generation of them and I would not risk misfires and pre-detonation with the wrong part.
  15. Try 0843
  16. Try 4717
  17. P0171 -- Lambda control adaptation bank X: system too lean Possible fault causes • Incorrect main filling signal from hot-film mass air flow sensor (setpoint voltage with stopped engine and ignition on = 0.9 ... 1.1 V ~ see Actual values, Filter >MAF<, >Mass air flow 1 (sensor)<+ >Mass air flow 2 (sensor)< ) • Oil filler cap leaking • Crankcase ventilation leak • Intake system leaks • Mechanical fault of tank vent (stuck open) • Tank vent driver fault • Leak in exhaust system • Mechanical fault of fuel injector(s) • Wrong fuel high-pressure signal • Timing incorrectly adjusted The most frequent causes of faults are leaks (secondary air) between the throttle and intake valves or at the engine ventilation.
  18. Try 6541
  19. The clutch microswitch will have two wires - one is Yellow with Grey stripe and the other wire is black.
  20. If you have access to a PST2 or PIWIS that might help diagnose. I would not replace the cluster without checking the simple stuff first. start with fuse B7 (15A) -- use ohm meter to verify it out of the circuit. then the switches - again you can use an ohm meter to verify. (click to enlarge)
  21. Does cruise control light come on when you just turn the ignition to "on"? If it does then your problem is in the cruise control.
  22. As I recall the last time they used bulbs in the cluster was MY2001. So if all the lights are out then you may have a wiring or connector issue. Worse case is a bad cluster.
  23. Try 4818
  24. No not really. You need to know the alarm fault codes to pin down the problem zone.
