B10001B - Driver's airbag Possible fault causes: - Coding Ignition circuit is connected and OK, but is not coded. - Electrical fault in circuit Electrical connection between two ignition circuits (mutual short circuit). Short circuit in wiring harness of two ignition circuits - Short circuit to B+/ground/between lines or open circuit in the lines - Limit exceeded This fault is recognized if the angle measured between >control unit and igniter< deviates from the specified value. - Below limit This fault is recognized if the angle measured between >control unit and igniter< deviates from the specified value. - Deactivated The ignition circuit is deactivated, because the wear/age limit was reached. - A triggering event (accident or similar) has occurred.   3. When you checked the connections did you check both the housing units in the car? -- pins tend to get pushed out or the connector cracks Also, inside where the bulbs are look for cracked wiring - 20 year old wiring sometimes breaks down.
  4. I am not sure what Durametric is showing there. All 92A Cayenne's (2011 - 2018) airbag codes start with B.

  6. Any shop that has an old PST2 should be able to help. More available than PIWIS and they may even loan you the PST2.
  7. If the bolts were just new then they haven't had a chance at heat fatigue yet. I would reuse them.
  8. And another tie wrap to keep the fuel in the bracket - not to tight though so it can move with engine movement.
  9. If I were taking a car to the track I would everything to be as perfect as possible. For street use not so much - but they are not hard to remove and fix.
  10. My first choice would be the battery. Strange electrical faults easily caused by battery issues. If your battery is 4 years old (or older) I would replace it.
  11. TapaTalk has crashed so many times on this site I removed it. Unfortunately TapaTalk has been in beta for over 1.5 years. I did workaround after workaround and then they would make a code change and break something else. It is clear that TapaTalk is not interested in forums any more - in favor of their hosted solution. Sorry, but I don't see it coming back.
