  1. A also just did it last Sunday, came out great, although i didnt mark the cables  but everything seems to have worked out as is. Definately give it a shot if your somewhat competent with tools. I totally agree with LVDell, those tabs stink to get out. Overall a great DIY and look at the other posts on this subject, follow the instructions, if you can print them out in color your better off. By the way, I highly recommend becoming a contributing member of this site. You will get a wealth of knowledge, accessing the TSB's & save a load of $$$.
  2. Looks like I found some power for my iPod! :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Funny I was just going to post the same question. I just did the B&M SSK. This site is amazing.
  3. Does anyone have the procedure for painting the interior pieces. I would like to know what is involved, sanding, prime, spray, clear if any. Which arctic silver to use? Any advice would be helpful.
  4. is there a horsepower gain in the FABspeed vs PSE that is reported to have no gain?
  5. Lesson learned, stuck them on, sticks out an inch, looks rediculous. Anyone need a brand new set of Turbo 2's? I will be looking to fix this, this week. Loren was right at the tire it is 12inch wide apply that to that on the car, it will function fine, no clearance issues at all, its the overall look that lets you down.
  6. LVDELL, Would 285's solve my problem? Or would i be in the same shape regardless?
  7. they came on the Wheel, I wonder if I could get the rubber swapped out to the smaller size and be ok.
  8. If i have wheels with an offset of 65 is that going to be an issue? I do not have a spoiler, wing seam?
  9. If i have wheels with an offset of 65 is that going to be an issue? I do not have a spoiler, wing seam?
  10. Has anyone put this size 295/30/18 on their 1999 C2? Do they look right, the TSB says they are approced but holy cow, they look a little wide.
  11. I have two Fabspeed mufflers on my 996C2. They sound great and are of a very decent build-quality. Unlike PSE they are in stainless-steel. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's something to think about. So then you might end up paying for the cool ability to turn it on and off. Which I do think is one of the greatest features of the PSE.
  12. And the PSE sounds Vs say the FABSPEED sound?
  13. Nope Confirmed they worked with Champion Motorsports and designed their own wheel, Spoke with Justin at the dealership.
  14. Does anyone have any experience with both 18" & 19" wheels on their 996? How much does it effect the ride, are there any consistent dangers in going with a 19" over an 18" Any advice would be helpful.
  15. I just found out they are from Brandywine. Brandywine Type One Rims.
  16. Rears are supposed to be 20lbs. I'm bumming becasue I bought a set of brand new Turbo Look 2's and I really should have held out for something different for a little more money.
