  1. Also to anyones knowledge there are no 07s except for mules So all 2007 Cayennes and up are 9PA1? ok got it. Next questions...where does the "9PA1" bit come from? is it the chassis number? (I'm travelling otherwise i would have checked my car)
  2. make sure the rotary switch on the top of the stalk is all the ay to the right if that does not work there is something wrong it should go slow intermittent faster and faster as you move to the left. then when it rains hard prepare for take off
  3. Although it was designed I dont think it was actually available on MY04 anywhere. An addon is what you need, Nav TV may be the answer if you really need to watch TV while your driving along narrow roads hmmmm :D
  4. In the US they are not turn signals and work with the regular lights I think you do not have them connected properly, make usre the bulb holders are tight to the body of the light assembly
  5. 1 - find and pull the fuse to the itronics unit then replace it 2 - do you still have a changer on the system
  6. The glove box is a known issue, it will fail shortly. The part, because it was a supplier defect, is very cheap, I think mine was $12 and you should see what you get its quite large. I would recommend getting the part and changeing it now since to do it once its actually failed is a PIA Have not hear of the center console problem but I think it could jam if it was slammed shut on some paper or the like
  7. The first post on this subject was in December 2003 on rennlist It aint changed, deal with it I have this exact issue, I find it very odd that the steering wheel does not skip up/down between programmed stations - rather scanning through to the frequency to the next available station. If anyone can assist - please let us know. BTW... This is my first post, be friendly :P
  8. exactly works a treat So you plug in your sirius receiver through the mobridge (I take it that mobridge has some kind of aux input)? Thinking of getting a ipod/bluetooth mobridge and it would be nice to link an existing sirius head unit directly to PCM versus FM modulation.
  9. It is the start of the pipes, mine started slowly I kept hoping it was magic
  10. My warranty is a third party one, could not get one from P to 100K from new coolant pipes are interpreted as hoses, therefore wear and tear. Same with strut, suspension component etc etc I think the odds are in your favor with a Cayenne on transmission (asian) and the engine (tank) You will spend the money but your choice who to pay
  11. Put $4k in the bank (basically the cost of the warranty) and pay for it yourself. I have had one since 49K and am near 100K and the warranty covered nothing at all. Coolant pipes, NO, blown AirStrut ,NO I would be in profit had I not paid for the waranty. These cars are pretty solid and so long as your not racing you should be fine
  12. There is no low cost way of doing this. In order to get sound into the Bose amp you have to travel the MOST fiber optic bus. In order to get on the bus you need a Mobridge unit (MOST Bridge). you can replace the CDR with any head unit you like so long as it comes with pre amp outputs, plug those into the Mobridge AUX input and your working. A couple of people used a Panasonic Nav/SAT unit in this way. All you need to do is get some decorative panel to clean up the installation and I have seen someone selling stuff like that on ebay. While your doing that you can pug in your ipod and get that working also.
  13. that is also true, the Mobridge units simulates a CD Changer and the system can only properly support 1 so you lose the installed one if you have it
  14. read the handbook on changing the battery the instructions are very good DSPTurtle, could you post those photos? I'm a little hung up. Thanks
  15. I would estimate around $5000 US, and no its not worth it. Get a Mobridge and a Pioneer Headunit, that should be more affordable, circa $2000
  16. get a mobridge unit and use its aux in to take the pre amp out from the pioneer into the bose
  17. on an 04 I would replace all the coils and all the plugs. Dealer is trying to save money. The error messages are only there when they are completely shot most likely others are also damaged. Also when a coils goes down it can damage the plug.
  18. I have the same noise (I think) I to have played with it, its not that bad, dont hear it whent he music is playing or at speed just around town when its quiet. I was told not to mess with the front diff until it fails, not much can be done inside without a replacement on standby, $$. Noisy does not mean failing.
