  1. do a search on cab tops...may be hydraulics or sensors or motor...
  2. WD-40...I don't think you have to worry about type of lube...we are not talking gears here...
  3. If it is a lead acid battery it should/must have a vent...you may need the kit to install it.
  4. model and MY please...usually this trim piece is attached to the shifter boot and the knob.
  5. P0445 98 EVAP canister purge valve - short circuit to B+ Possible fault cause ♦ Wiring harness ♦ DME control module faulty P0446 EVAP canister shutoff valve (function) - below limit Possible fault cause ♦ Purge air line blocked ♦ EVAP canister purge valve sticks in the opened position (this causes continuous vacuum to go from the intake manifold to the tank system) ♦ EVAP canister shutoff valve is blocked/sticks in the opened position ♦ Flow resistance of EVAP canister too high (filter deformed/ blocked) ♦ Pressure sensor connected incorrectly (polarity reversal) P0202 Fuel Injector, Cylinder 2 – Open Circuit Possible fault cause ♦ Fuel injector (coil) open circuit ♦ Open circuit in wiring ♦ DME control module so I would check the install (wires and hoses) of the purge valve. The next guess would be a faulty DME.
  6. Is your window actually not sitting in the track correctly? Is it not sealing? With your top up and your windows down, do you get the whistle? If not then I wouldn't mess with the window alignment...
  7. turn up the music or get an aftermarket exhaust...it is difficult to track down noises...do you get the noise with the top down?
  8. uhhh...wrong again...and any dealer SHOULD know where the DME is...sorry that's two wrong guesses...third one and you're out...LOL
  9. Nope, sounds like you prepped the car properly. Inflate tires properly and off you go.
  10. sounds more like he is trolling for some info (on a stolen car)...WTF is a key sabb?
  11. Just do a search...link 1 and link2 and link 3...took 3 seconds...you get the point.
  12. Did you even try a search...this hase been covered multiple times...try searching on window microswitch
  13. Yes, the B&M is the oem manufacturer, so the only difference is the shortness of the throw. I also have one for 5 years now... You can search for DIY install as well.
  14. good post ^...remember you are talking high altitude. I sent a data log to my tuner and he adjusted the tune for the environment...
  15. LMAO...then she'll just go buy more shoes....
  16. Haa...just replied on the other thread. YES go to Orin at Eurosport Ltd. in Lakewood. He knows his sh*t and is very reasonable...I left the number in my other post. BTW, Stevinson is the only dealer I would use in Denver area (see Justin or Chance)
  17. You don't have durametric...a must if you have a modded car...in any case instead of going to Porsche (if you do go to Stevinson and ask for Justin or Chance) call Orrin at Eurosport Ltd. Union Ave. in Lakewood 303.789.2545...tell him Bill sent you. he knows these cars well.
  18. Can you provide the actual codes? Bank 1 is driver side, position 3 is closest to the driver. Can you flash it back to stock? I would be very suspicious of coil packs, but I don't see why they would effect just one bank? Why do you use those plugs? Are they recommended by your tuner? I use Bosch FR6 for my tune.
  19. there are several things you can try: 1. change the battery 2. reset the fob by installing the battery reverse polarity for 15 seconds and then re-installing correctly 3. get a PIWIS or PST2 and reprogram the FOB...
  20. did you do a search...here is all you need to know...took all of 3 seconds...LOL
  21. I LOVE that pic!!! especially with the jack stands photochopped out...LOL No doubt Orient has THE cleanest engine bay around...Cleaner than new from the factory to be sure.
