  1. I take 36N a couple of times a month and yes I've been on Neva...but I have a triple black CAB and a Strosek wing and a TechArt Type II GTS front bumper oh yeah and lowered as well.
  2. If it's not the fuse it could just be the prongs on the inside got bent. Just bend them in again and the appropriate contact can be made.
  3. I suggest you post this question on autopia.org and detailcity.org:
  4. Keep us updated on this...I am very interested having removed my EVO V-flow because of MAF issues. TIA!
  5. Get a hold of the folks at FVD and see if they have any deals. I got mine from them (and their PSS9s have "custom" springs) at a great price. http://www.fvd-web.com/
  6. I would not use an oiled filter! Yes, you are probably fine with the stock clutch until you get up near 600hp. The LWFW is a light weight fly wheel. It is about 25lbs. light than the dual flywheel which is stock. It is capable of handling considerably more HP and it performs better (only downside is some minimal chatter when the car is in neutral). I have taken my aftermarket intake off and now I have no MAF issues. I find it interesting that your dealer sees shifter links failing. If it were a problem I think this site would cover it...but it is not. Read for yourself: http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...amp;#entry11426 Good luck and have fun!
  7. IMHO: The shift link is not necessary or worth it. Be careful of the aftermarket filters as they may throw CELs (make sure it is dry). You may want to look into intake system? Again with ECU flashing...shop around for what you want long term...Sharkwerks is fine. Don't need to upgrade the wastegates unless you are upgrading the turbos (sometimes this comes with them btw). I would get suspension before that and exhaust as well. Sach stage 2 clutch LWFW also! Have fun.
  8. Any thoughts...well can you descibe what you are doing when turning? I mean is it possible the PSM or ABS is coming on? You will feel this in the wheel and brake pedal.
  9. You mean orifices on the MAF  I have read where you spray/soak the whole unit with "circuit board cleaner". To tell you the truth I used the CRC stuff and basically soaked the whole thing (did this more than once) and let it air dry...and it never helped. Once I got the codes (ABS/PCM) the MAF was fried and only replacement worked. Others swear that their car performs better after "cleaning". I have not experienced this...whcih does not mean it doesn't work...just not for me. Oh yeah....look here: http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=414
  10. Well Jeff why don't you tell us about your car...like what is it? There are TSBs for poor radio reception. So check there as well.
  11. Hmmm. You can't open it manually...there must be something mechanically jammed. In this case I would suggest a dealer. Never heard of this...not being able to open manually that is.
  12. You can always "deploy" the spoiler by pressing the button. This works regardless of speed. BTW if the cops pull you over because they know the wing deploys at 75mph...then you can just show them how the button works.
  13. Depends on where the nail was and if you intend any spirited driving (like track). This is a common practice. I would not do it on my p-car though.
  14. go here: http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=7070
  15. That sounds fine...what rubber? Manufacturers vary in size so you may need a fender roll. Yes there are Thick steering wheels...Porsche has them as well as TechArt.
  16. Likely the slave, could be as simple as air in the line (try bleeding the line). Of course you could go with an upgrade..sachs stage 2 with LWFW.
  17. Saint, What are your driving desires? If you are going to track the car at all, I would not recommend 19"...If you want Bling, then 19's are fine. For suspension the suggestions above are all choices...if you want more...Motons or JIC. When you ask how wide is this without fender rolling? Anyway how wide for tires will depend on how low you go with suspension.
  18. Here you go: http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?L1..._2520&SKU=45533
  19. Here is a good reference: http://www.geocities.com/Yosemite/Gorge/6770/motor_oils.htm
  20. My 8500 shuts itself off when nothing is detected for an hour?
  21. Get them at Navteq: http://navteq.com/ there are no updates for the 2002 that I know of. Mine is M0006-001x
  22. It sounds like it is OK. The over rev was probably logged in the OBD which may affect what Porsche will do for you if you have a problem. It is more likely the tranny to worry about than the engine, but as I said it sounds OK.
  23. There are some slight differences from the info. posted previously. I have re-written the DIY for front belt replacement in a newer cab.
