  1. Thanks for all the great info. Relating to my 2008 Cayenne S, how much new fluid will I need for a complete flush, and is it unnecessary to bleed the ABS? Would the dealer bleed the ABS?
  2. Does anyone have the torque info for the caliper bolts for a 2008 S? In the tutorial, the torques are listed as follows; Torque settings: FROM LOREN: Brake caliper to front wheel carrier M16 x 1.5 270 Nm (200 ftlb.) Brake caliper to rear wheel carrier M14 x 1.5 180 Nm (133 ftlb.) Brake disc to wheel hub (front and rear axles) M12 x 1.5 14 Nm (10.5 ftlb.) Plug rear brake disc 14 Nm (10.5 ftlb.) Brake cover plate to front axle M8 x 12 20 Nm (15 ftlb.) Brake caliper to rear wheel carrier: M8 x 16 20 Nm (15 ftlb.) M6 x 12 8 Nm(6 ftlb.) Are these correct? 200 ft/lbs seems awfully high. And what about the conflicting info on the rears?
  3. I bought the PSE mufflers from a dismantler and said to heck with all the superfluous vacuum and electrical stuff...the mufflers default to sport without any of that stuff installed(Why wouldn't you want sport mode all the time?). It was very easy to replace them, took about an hour. Since they are original equiptment, they pass smog in CA with no problem.
  4. Just a word to the wise; if you buy the part at an auto parts store for $10 or so, you will get a Chinese knock-off that will work fine, but only for a little while. Trust me, buy the $50 OEM Audi part from Suncoast Porsche or whereever. Otherwise, you will be replacing the part again in a couple thousand miles like I did! On the upside, it will only take you 30 minutes or less the second time!!
  5. A lot of the 08's are actually a year older than you think. There was no 07 model and the 08's came out early 07. I have an 08 S that went into service 3/07. Love it!
  6. I don't believe so - not in MY2004. In MY2004 X51 and PSE were separate options. How about in 2003? Could you order PSE without X51?
