  1. 2010 RS - same issue. Front axle lift - goes up doesn't go down with button. Goes down at designated sped (40 mph I think). Porsche Platinum warranty should cover.
  2. Either Pelican or ECS Tuning has magnetic drain plugs. https://www.ecstuning.com/News/PORSCHE_996_Turbo_Service_Kits_2001_2002_2003_2004_2005/?salesrep=jcrabtree&utm_source=rennlist&utm_medium=forum&utm_content=jcrabtree&utm_campaign=newpost
  3. Charged battery. Took a long ride. Stopped and started hot 3-4 times. No problems - full crank start each time. Will get battery tested when I have a chance.
  4. The starter always engages, it just stops mid-crank (like the last crank before battery is dead). And then car starts on second - full crank.
  5. Where is the CPS located? Edit: Found picture on 6speed. Issue did not present this weekend, hot or cold. I'm going to charge battery tonight. Battery is from 11/12. Car is not driven daily.
  6. I've been having this issue - when car is hot. Sometimes starter won't crank first time, but always starts second time. I've read starter solenoid, ^ CPS, etc. anybody nailed it down further? I will check battery, connections, but I don't think that's the issue.
  7. I have a similar issue - intermittent leakage. Very small amounts. Can not view source, although the drips appear next to the inside of the rear wheels. Leaks appear after non-use. There is a thread or two on rennlist noting similar issue, and some have found that it was a loose/old hose connection. The NHSTA coolant pipe inquiry relates to sudden and complete failures that are no preceded by minor leakage.
  8. Sounds like a good year with the turbo. Just replaced my oil pressure sending unit, diverters, and solenoid brackets. Should have replaced the solenoids too - got another CEL today - didn't check it yet... thought 2013 would be the year of no CELs.
  9. Tune-up ever been done? I replaced my MAF, O2s, coils, and plugs with new at 55,000 miles. Car drives much better now. I wasn't getting any codes (but I always wasnt experiencing back-fires). Good luck
  10. I bought the X73 mounts (996.343.980.15/16). Dropping car off tomorrow for the install. Also had Bilstein rebuild both rear shocks. (should have done fronts too b/c of low cost to rebuild - and they're raising rates 1/1/13).
  11. Any easy way to check if bracket is broken?
