  1. I think the Porsche workshop manuals exist on the Porsche PPN website that is accessible with a Porsche issued PIWIS or PPN membership. Ive been able to get the 95B 2014-2018 Porsche WSM as well as the 3rd party WSM. Each is about 6000 pages but I also have the Diagnostic, Wiring, TSBs and other materials direct from Porsche adding another couple thousand pages...
  2. Is it possible to set the TPMS warning to a pressure below 27lbs?
  3. Last weekend I was at Sebring for HPDE and my clutch started slipping Its fine for daily driving currently but it's time to replace clutch and probably the flywheel this tine ( didnt change it at 90k miles last time and Im at 197k miles). Im thinking of getting a midweight ( aprox 18 lbs instead of OE 40lbs) flywheel. Anyone have experience or knowledge about it? I understand it should allow the engine to accelerate faster but causes the transmissionnto make ticking noise at idle. The car is a 2004 996TT cabriolet that is stock except for the PCCM+ I installed 2 years ago and the GT2 no clutch assist.
  4. I just bought the same car ( "17 Macan GTS) and am interested in the Mods4cars module. I also saw a post from last year on an alternative Porsche forum about Mods4cars offering group buy discounts, even for persons ordering separately for any Porsche module 10% for 10 units, 15% for 20, and 20% for 20 or more units. If there is an interest here I can contact the company to inquire about reviving the offer for members here.
  5. One must be in Developer or Engineering mode to deactivate thise features.
  6. I went to a top end auto stereo installer and they installed mine in my 04 996TT ( and I know a few prior) for $450. They used the existing GPS antenna I purchased a siriusxm tuner and had that installed but not activated as well. They did have to install the SiriusXM antenna. Hope that helps. I do ha ea question.. now that I can't use the CD changer what is the proper way to copy my CDs to the micro SD card?
  7. I installed the PCCM+ in my 04 996TT Cab and it's a nice improvement. I agree with above comments that the volume does seem reduced fromnthe original Porsche PCM but that's ok. 1 do have 2 questions. 1) what is the firmware update info or TSB to correct the trip odometer issue? And 2) is there a way to trick the radio to think thebcar is not moving so nav input or Bluetooth connections may be made ( ofcourse by passenger!!!) while driving?
  8. Thank you. Just to clarify... The language is set to English but it is nteresting these specific fault messages were in German. And thank you to your wife, however when I use development/engineering mode ( which displays messages in German ) I just use my Google translate app.
  9. A friend of mine has 991.2 and was having an issue with rear camera and rear parking sensors. I scanned the car with my PIWIS 3 and got the following attached error message. Recommendations please
  10. I have a PIWIS 3 which is the current Porsche diagnostic computer.
  11. I am looking for information on DIY fluid replacement on 2018 991.2 for PDCC, PDK, and All wheel control box. Thank yop
  12. What about a multifunction steering wheel in a 996 with the newer PCCM+ system?
  13. Thank you, however, there is no horn or connector on either side of the battery or in frunk area infront of the windsheild.
  14. Here is similar photo from the car. Please note the harness doesn't have connector for the horn.
  15. I agree but this one has different alarm module and no alarm near the battery
