  1. If the battery/batteries are not the problem I would check for water migration into the cabin and corroded wiring.
  2. Have you cleared the low voltage codes in all modules? Does the code return after battery replacement? What year is the vehicle, does it have two batteries?
  3. This topic has been beaten to death. Search the forums and make a decision to the repair. Replace the fluid first and if that doesn't fix the problem you'll need a gearbox valve body so long as you didn't find loads of swarf in the pan magnets during the fluid change.
  4. I found it very difficult to pick out the noise on your sound clip. I can only suggest the dealer try a diagnostic tool such as chassis microphones attached to different parts of the drive train. Noises can be elusive due to the sound waves travelling through various components until they reach an area to sound off from. I once had a noise caused from a failing pinion brng in a rear wheel drive differential that sounded like it was coming from the gearbox.
  5. Once you register the tool with Autel you will have one year of free updates which is done via the internet.
  6. There is nothing in the steering rack that would cause this issue but the control module that is part of the steering column will. The Porsche scan tool can access certain control module without the ignition key operating so I recommend you take it to the dealer but be sure the battery is fully charged and not the source of the problem. I've only seen this fault occur on the 2003 to early 2005 vehicles.
  7. How old are the bulbs? A failing HID bulb takes more current to ignite and can mimic a faulty ballast unit.
  8. It's hard to tell from your video due to all the mechanical noise of the fuel injection system, best to find another cayenne to compare it to.
  9. If you're unsure of the rotor size and still have the factory unit installed, just look through the wheel spoke on the rotor hat area and you can see the overall rotor size, min thickness and part number stamped into the rotor.
  10. Welcome There are many vendors to choose from including Pelican Parts and Sun Coast Parts both of which have offered great service. I recommend sticking with OEM parts when dealing with spark plugs and such. The only reset will be for the service reminder/oil change service which will require a factory tool or software such as Durametric.
  11. I've installed after market units and have them on my Cayenne and overall they have nothing but trouble. Elements failing, switches failing, fuse holders melting, etc....
  12. High pressure switch for the A/C? It should be located higher up on the hard line I think.
  13. Could be many things at fault. Any engine code? Have you inspected the turbos to see if they are bypassing oil? Has the PCV system been inspected? Are you using the correct oil?
  14. If you don't have HID light how are they moving? What am I missing?
  15. When you select high beam on the Cayenne the HID bulb actually tips up via the levelling motor to become the high beam and the H7 turns on to illuminate the lower portion where the HID would on low beam.
  16. Could you try disconnecting each ignition coil electrical connector one by one with the engine running to see if it affects the noise or locates it to a cylinder. This will cause a check engine light and don't operate the engine in this condition but only for a few seconds on each cylinder.
  17. Have you checked that the spark plugs are all torqued correctly? There have been a few cases over the years where a loose plug caused an odd noise.
  18. What year is your Cayenne? The early models tested fuel pressure via a schradder valve on the fuel rail. Do you hear the fuel pump prime when you open the drivers door? Any fault codes?
  19. I can't ever remember reference to a module 11, it might be a glitch in the Durametric software and I'd recommend sending a screen shot and details to them and maybe they can help.
