  1. Just to be shure. I pulled the Fuses 13 and 14. When i pulled 14 the Car dies after a few seconds. Fuße 14 is the passenger side pump? This means the System is changing to the Pump on Driver side. If it dies means the Pump on drivers side is Toast!? Is it a difference in pulling the fuses or pulling the Relais?
  2. http://www.clubtouareg.com/forums/f92/fuel-pump-doesnt-prime-when-i-open-the-door-219762.html#/topics/219762?page=2
  3. Maybe this is the right place to put my question in. My fuel Pump was already complaining One time Last year. Now i believe again something wrong. Cant hear the Pump Prime when i am opening the drivers door. I found a interesting report in a Touareg Forum. Is the System in my Cayenne the Same?
  4. Hi Mikel. Hope you are doing well. the vent hose you are talking about has to be close. Its regulating the pressure within the crankcase. Crankcase ventilation hose. Any leak will result in a strange engine running. For my understanding if to much pressure the vent is opening and preasure can release .
  5. Little bit of a different question Lewis. Cayenne sleeping Mode. After some time the car is going into some sleeping Mode. My old S stay for some time now. Let's say one week. It's not waking up. Turning the key and steering. Nothing. After 5 minutes it worked. Now again not. What it could be? Thanks
  6. My friend this is not nice to hear. From your message i understand the young guy dont have insurance and you have to pay?! Bad bad .
  7. One day when they changed fuel pumps after the wipers didnt work. The guys didnt understand what happend here. In the end it was a wire connection running under the back seat which they forgot to connect again
  8. Sorry to hear. Hope you could leave the unhappy things behind. Thank you for your detailled instructions. I am still hunting for leaks too. Preasure is too high with me that i get constant overboost codes. Somewhere the engine is reading a low boost and thats why its building more and more pressure. Have to doublecheck all places again
  9. A lot of Cayenne engines burning oil. Some more some less. All my Porsche models used oil. As i remember my old Carrera 3.2 as my 964 . I dont know if this design based.
  10. Depends on your driving style too. My Turbo S can burn 1 liter on 700 km if i run it very hard
  11. @lewis thank you Lewis. I was hoping not having to do this. Manifold disconnecting and all this stuff.
  12. Did you continue to look for your Problem? Found it? Or maybe you posted the result in onother threat!?
  13. @JFP in PA Thank you for your reply. I am wondering what the thermostat is doing when i push the gas to rev the engine. Because in this way the temp drops very much immediately
  14. Sorry guys i need to come back to this issue. Summer is coming and as temp outside is rising so my turbo will do. @lewis mentioned a stuck thermostat could be the reason while the water pump is new. Please explain. Would like to understand this. Why when reving at park the temp is going down? What the thermostat has to do with this? Thank you very much
  15. @lewis,did you check your cardan and the flex? as you remember i had this strange vibration / hesitation which felt like coming from the engine. You know that i changed a lot without solving this. In the end i found this flex disc distroyed and the car runs much better now. Same time i replaced the EVAP purge valve. Dont know which impact this one had.
  16. I agree. Since i changed the purge valve and the wiring / connector the car runs much better!
