  1. I believe you have some broken wire from car to door. Try to unplug passenger door connector, and then put fuse back. If it will not blow, you have problem in door wiring, or in door control unit (which in on the door also), or maybe with window motor.

Compresson Test:Does a scored cylinder automaticly lead into less compression?Thank you From my experiences, not porsche, but other engines, there was always some difference comparing to other cylinders. In some cases was difference more in some less, depending on how much damage has scoring left.
  3. Strange, this really is sound of scored cylinder wall. Try to get better scope, to make picture with better quality. It's possibly, that we don't see scoring in your pictures. Did you do a compression test?
  4. For adjustment I'm not sure, coz I never need to do it yet. Shutter is for high beam. When you turn on high beam shutter opens.
  5. TCU can not be programed, and can only be replaced with new one, with newer SW. You can try to look if you can see TCM details with Durametric, SW number is four digit (example 0351, 0362, 0473,0519, it could be one of those, or some other number). If you'll find that number, post it there an I'll let you know if its updated. You can also see sw number in TCM itself.
  6. If you enter in gateway module you should check all communication lines, and then you'll see which one is not ok. You probably have wiring problem.
  7. If they are just horizontal, then this are curve form cylinder honing. which is normal. If you have chance make a video with sound, maybe will be easy to diagnose. Here is a example picture how should scoring look like(horizontal lines are normal, vertical are scoring):
  8. Are this line in circle, or are they from top to the bottom of the cylinder? Which side of picture is top of the cylinder? It is really hard to see from these pictures. If you have lines from up to the bottom of the cylinder it is scored, if they are in circle, they could be visible lines from honing.
  9. What diagnostic tool you use?I have to ask you to be more specific!So once again, from which modules you read those errors? PSM? Gateway?...You can test all CAN lines from gateway, (using the right diagnostic tool)and see in which line is problem.
  10. Look under the passenger foot carpet. There are many can wires join together, and they could oxidize and loose connection.
  11. With Vagcom you can do that, and much more, including coding functions on almost all units, except radio. If you'll have problems connecting Vagcom to Cayenne, you have to join pin 7 and pin 3 on the cable together, and you should connect without problems.
  12. No problem Paul, I'm happy that we solve problem. You should consider about donation at this form, coz then you have access to al TSBs and many DIYs, believe me they can be very useful.
  13. OK First try to connect launch with your TCM but use VW software not porsche! Try now and post here, and I'll give you next instructions.
  14. As I said, I know how difficult could be to maintain your car if you don't have right dealers... Anyway If you want to code it by yourself, you will need durametric or vag-com diagnostic tool. Do you own any of those yet? If you do, you could tell me which DME software you have, and maybe you already have updated. Well if not, is the only way to update it at dealer with PIWIS.
  15. I have to say that I have the same experiences with dealers... Well I also change TCM unit, and they also said, that 955.618.022.12 SW0602 will not work in my car... In the and I bought this unit, coded by myself, and wooolaaa it's working! But the thing is, that I already have updated DME. I your DME is not updated yet, will these need to be necessary to work with newer TCM sw, and that can only be done with PIWIS.
  16. Well here is the thing. If you have clunking when downshift it's more likely to be problem with valve body then TCM. But if you already change Valve body or you intent to, it's recommended to also change TCM with updated SW. So now you have TCM 955.618.022.01 SW0352, that one needs to replaced with 955.618.022.03, or reconditioned 955.618.022.AX. These units needs to have SW0600. Maybe will also work with 955.618.022.12 SW0602, but if you chose any of those you will also need to do DME update otherwise none of those TCU will not work in your car.
  17. Well, 09D927750CB has SW 0606, and this unit is for TURBO. Start from beginning. What problem you have? Why yo want to change TCM?
  18. Please tel me which sw number is your old one and you new one its written on TCU init decal.
  19. Tiptronic bottoms have nothing to do with other steering wheel buttons. If they are working before is the only chance that your TCU is not coded properly. If you change TCU it needs to be coded with the same numbers like the old one, and the buttons have to work.
  20. True. Vagcom works perfect on all modules with all coding functions, except PCM (radio).
  21. Like Loren said, Durametric is best tool you can get for that price. If you buying tool, and you want tool, which you'll use it on other brands, not just Porsche, you can get Launch Diagun x431. It's great diagnostic tool, which works on almost all car brands. It works in all Porsche modules, you just can't do coding.
  22. Yes, the issue is nothing more than a valve body. DO NOT waste your money on a complete transmission as it is not needed! +1 Valve body I had the same problems, and after replacing Valve body and TCM, car shifts better than new. Like I said many times, It's not cheap job, but it's worth every penny.
  23. As I look I think it could be done without the engine removal in CS. I planing to do it soon, coz those slight vibrations at idle making me nervous.
