2007 changes

Saw my first 2007 Boxster S 3.4 today at the local dealer.

For contributing members you can see the bulletin issued on August 2, 2006, which states that: "Effective immediately, option XCZ - Sport Shifter, is no longer available for factory installation." But then the bulletin goes on to state that the short shift will continue to be available as a Tequipment part.

But, the sport/short shift was listed on the sticker as a $765 option. I sat in the car and played around with the shift lever. It was a short shift. Then I looked at the sticker for the build month, which was July, so this car got built just under the wire.

The coolant tank in the rear trunk is gone. It is now like a Cayman with fill ports.

The dealer did not have any 2007 base Boxsters for me to look at.

Did you manage to take a snap of the front end too? Ever since i saw the pic (below) off the website, i was interested to know where all the gubbins for satnav, CD changer and fluids now go.

Or, is this just a pic of car without the optional kit?
