New fuel pump

Recommended Posts

Did you do the egas throttle adaptation? Turn the car on for 1 minute without touching the gas pedal, you will hear the egas actuate, after 1 minute turn off the car, and remove the key. The throttle is now readapted.

Without providing a better, more accurate description it will be pretty hard to help you out. What exactly did the fellow do with the scan tool? Was it a PST2? What codes if any were present? Did you address CJ's suggestion and double check that the fuel pump was installed correctly? What lead you to surmise that it was the fuel pump that was bad to begin with?

Yes Todd I checked as CJ suggested.the mechanic that was working on the car put gass to the motor and it started .He then traced the relay s and they were fine .The car did turn over just fine but no fire .It does start now right away but thats about .I unplugged the battery for a half hour and then tried it again.Still the same .I wonder if the computer is screwed up .Can those be reprogrammed? The scan tool he had was about a 15,000. dollar tool that could get the car running right as long as I didnt turn the key off.Iam sorry I dont know what he actually did with the scan tool.Ill see if I can t get him here to look at this topic .Thanks everyone for trying to help,Its very appreciated.
