996 Cab Manufacture Dates

Recommended Posts

Here at BAS International we've just finished developing our Glass Upgrade hood for the 996 cab, I need to know what dates the 996 cab featured in this picture was manufactured from and to, I think it is 1997-02, am I right.

The hood we produce fits all 996 cabriolets from 1998-2001 that originally had plastic windows, we have only produced and fitted 1 so far however we manufacture a glass replacement for the 986 and have sold over 3000 of these tops.

I don't want to abuse the forum rules on advertising so if you wish to know more please feel free to contact me through our website www.bas-international.com

If you have a glass replacement for the 1999 Cabs ---- I would be interested. My top is fine --but the back window is bad.

Chuck Ottwell

GAHH.com makes tops with glass window. I have installed a few of them in New Jersey. The glass is considerly smaller and the headliner must be replaced at the same time. They had some delaminating issues but have since overcome them
