So here is my car (or least close enough, its in the garage and I dont have any pictures handy). I hate the orange in my lights. What can I do? I've looked around and even called LA Dismantlers and we are talking $500 for a pair of taillights and a $1000 or more for head lights. Is this my only option? Can I go somewhere else, Does some one else make them for cheap. And why does it cost so much for a set of headlights? Well, thanks for your time.

correct, the amberectomy will not work on those.

Your side markers are easy to swap out and will cost ~$30-50

I sold a piar of clear lights on ebay, they do come up every now and again. I think I got about $500 for the pair. IF you buy a pair, remember your old lights can be re-sold for some amount... maybe $150-200. Tail lights... same thing.

Have you ever seen how big the headlight units are.. Thats why they cost 5 bones USED

Here is another wat to do it (pics) I think this is just tint for windows, you could ask a tint shop to quote it for you if you like these.. (not my car, but local and I have seen it. Not bad and maybe cheaper than the other ways around this problem

if you want to change, change it only with the facelifted 996 headlights or the 997,wich one you like more.

i know it involve also some parts but the effect worth the effort

there is also a guy in france who do it,jaqueslemonde i think, don't know about the cost you should check it.

Here is a complete halogen light set front (including the triangles), rear & side markers for $1262, but they're located in the UK so you'll need to add shipping.

They may have better prices if you give them a call as their prices for the Boxster kit is a lot cheaper.
