Overrevs

Recommended Posts

987/997's have published numbers for the the six ranges of overrevs for their engines:

Range 1: 7300-7500 RPM

Range 2: 7500-7700 RPM

Range 3: 7700-7900 RPM

Range 4: 7900-8400 RPM

Range 5: 8400-9500 RPM

Range 6: 9500-11000 RPM

However, I have been unable to find published numbers for the system used on 986/996's, which consists of only two ranges: Range 1 and Range 2.

Does anyone have any information on what RPM's correspond to Range 1 and what RPM's correspond to Range 2 on the 986/996's?

Regards, Maurice.
