Side View mirrors not working.

For some reason, neither of my side view mirrors on a 2003 C4S works. Am I overlooking something obvious?

I push the button below the joystick on the left side view mirror pod and then toggle the joystick, and the mirrors don't move. Then I click the button to the other side and toggle the joystick, still nothing. I've tried this with the motor running and with the car off. Is there a particular sequence that is needed? The owner's manual doesn't go into details. Maybe the mechanism is just busted and I need to bring it to the service dept?

Check your fuse box.

You can also try pushing the mirrors with your finger a little bit to see if that loosens them up. If you only use the mirror adjustment rarely they can stiffen up enough that the little motors can't break the friction. Push the mirrors until they start to move and then try the switch again.
