Cam Cover Gasket Change?

There is no gasket - it uses the sealant Drei Bond silicone - Type 1209 and Loctite 5900.

Problem is to do it right -

- the cover (which is really the camshaft cover) needs to come off and be cleaned

- to remove the camshaft cover you need to hold the cams in place

A coupe folks here have made their own camshaft holding tools.

Porsche book time is 4 hours - per cam cover.
