The headlight washer relay is fused (Holder B, fuse F4, 25A) according to wiring diagrams (Mitchell-1) I have for my US model ('07 3.4S). How are you with reading wiring diagrams as I can send you some -- can't post here due to copyrights.

Regards,

paul...

I have had the car put on diagnostics and have been told fault codes for the window switch, wingmirror switch from the dme control unit as c123, c150 and c152, control box pcm.

for the hig beams i have been told the fault code is fc 8021, no communication and no voltage to them.

i have also been told it is probably the convience control unit or the vehicle electril system or the loom.

ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO FIX IT OR EXACTLY WHERE IT MAY LIE.?????????

I suspect that your front end control has gone wacky. You can use a PIWIS tester to try and reprogram it, if that does not work you will likely need to replace it.

hi Loren. thanks for your reply. have spoken to a porsche specialist and they do no know of a front control unit. can you help. the item number or code for the item i need to change. thank you.

You are joking? The front control unit on early 987 and 997 cars had terrible problems with it's programming. I think they all might have been reprogrammed at some time.

Perhaps it time to find a new Porsche specialist...

thanks loren i might have to do that. i think they wanted me to come in to get it tested first and charge me for that also. so it is called a front control unit.
