Side Markes doesn't blink?

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I just switched out the ugly orange blinkers to put in the clear ones.

When I hit the turn signals, none of the sides blink. Both sides doesn't work.

Now, I didn't try blinking the old ones because I always assumed they always blinkned or am I wrong..?

The problem occurs on both sides. Is this normal? Aren't side markers supposed to blink w/ the turn signals?

I plugged the olds one back in and tried seeing if they blinked, they too didn't blink.

Any suggestions is welcomed, thanks.

They are side marker lights in the US, not turn signal lights.  So they do not blink.  They are turn signal lights in Europe.

There is a 'hack' you can do to make a North American car blink with the turn signals.

Thanks Tool pants!

I just turned the "headlights" on and the blinkers came on, so everything is working.

Preciate the quick response.

Hey TP,

Does this hack work after doing the modified daytime running lights hack?

Thanks
