how to display elevation on multi-function display

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone

i'm willing to display elevation on the multi function display - see attached picture (top gear magazine)

post-97618-0-34227300-1408180669_thumb.j

unfortunately I don't see elevation (altitude) as being one of the option available when customizing the 4 filelds of the display.

i have PCM, satnav and sport chrono options... and I can display altitude on the main PCM screen..

anybody knows why I can't do it on the multi function display ?

thanks !

You should be able to show 4 different matrics on the Multi Function Display. I display, coolant temp, oil temp, oil pressure and time/distance to destination. The set-up is with the PCM. Just change one of your current displays in the drop-down menu.

Thank you white knight ! It works now.

I just had to pick the "GPS height" option in the menu. I just could not find it because of a poor translation ( thought it was about the # of visible satellites )

      Dear Sir and Madame,
Could you please kindly advise me where can I find replacement LCD monochrome display for my Carrera 997 A/C control.
Unfortunately, it was damaged while replacing the control buttons.
I have the precise dimensions of this display (screen).
      Thank you very much!

The radio / cd / Navigation unit in my 2006 Carrera S is having display issues. I can't figure out a pattern. It is sporadic, happens sometimes when cold, sometimes when hot. Sometimes it is fine a startup and then goes haywire, sometimes the other way around. Is there a fix other than replacing? Is this a common issue?
It always produces something. Sometimes almost solid white lines, it has even done duplicate images side by side at half of their original size.
