Caught in "Whats your email" loop

So after I donated this year my account was semi locked because emails sent to me were bouncing, old email was still in system?

  Now email is corrected.  Still get "fix email" popup window after every thread change, also at login.  Try to correct by filling out popup and get "That email is in use"  Well no S--t Sherlock it's mine.  How to get this straight?

Please - anyone else has has a problem with changed email addresses please PM me so I can reset you to get emails again.

 

Further explanation: This site uses your email for the Forgot Password function, as well as notifications YOU signed up for (i.e. Follow this topic). We DO NOT send bulk emails - at any time.

We use a site tool that monitors "bounced" emails and when there are enough bounces it puts you on a "Disabled Email" list and stops trying to send to the bad email address. This is a good thing as keeps this site from being blacklisted for sending to bad email addresses.

 

After you are on the "Disabled Email" list the only way to get emails or requested notifications from this site again -- is for you to update your email.

Since very few people actually correct their email address - I must do a reset on your account so you get email again (like in Frank's case above).
