Trunk and Engine Compartment levers

My 996 1999 6 speeds has manual (via cable) trunk and engine compartment release levers.

 

Can it be possible to convert it to electric?

 

Hate those scratched levers.

Yes, it can be done, but it is a bit of work.  You will need to locate the later parts and then make up a wiring harness to connect into the car and run it to both ends of the car to connect to the latch mechanisms.  Because of the effort involved, the view may not be worth the climb.

No option but to take the thing apart polish it and re-paint as I once did.
