I have just fitted a brand new set of plugs & ignition coils in my 2.7....and unfortnately one of the coils plugs was not snapped in correctly.Started it up to try....ran on 5 cylinders & set off the engine light.Rectified the problem and the engine now runs sweetly...went for a drive but the light has stayed on.Is there a way i can reset it without dealers or buying a dagnostic tool...?

Most of the time, the light will clear itself with miles, but I would still have the car scanned just to be sure there isn't a secondary issue.  A lot of auto parts stores will do this for free.
