At this time I do not have question.  I was expecting to locate one and dig in for some high level reading.

Decided with an '11 Panamera Turbo, which if all goes well, will pick up this coming Saturday.

How about this question:

If I wanted to replace engine mountss at some point, what would it take tools wise and steps wise?

The car I consider had a small bead of some fluid in area of engine mounts.  Hard to tell but I assume could be from the mounts.  Wonder if I can do this as DIY.  Would def. post a DIY if can do.

Make sure it is the engine mounts.

Replacing them requires lifting the engine (usually an engine hoist and the proper hardware bracket to not damage the engine). Sorry, not likely at DIY in my book.

Inspection folks cleaned off, had car for 2 days total (dealer was not in hurry).

After cleaning and driving they did not see any fluid.  However the initial fluid was not a large leak or splash, it was only a couple drops, darker.   So far inspection folks said probably nothing, but I am inquiring just in case I start seeing some signs.

Overall inspection showed total of 3 notifications on cluster plus 1 observation:

- Low tire pressure rear pass - tire had nail

- maintenance upcoming in 10000 miles

- next oil change due in 7800 miles

- lower control arms forward bushing weakened

Dealer is replacing tires with new ones (check), and is replacing both control arms with new Porsche parts (check), and giving 4 wheel alignment (check).

In all there should be nothing outstanding.  Since I will drive car back home, it will give me perfect test duration to check if car is up to long drive.

Thank you for your input.
