2001 Porsche 911 C4 Convertible.

Drivers side power seat forward/backward, up/down, and tilt all inoperable. Memory buttons and switches on seat both not operating seat. When buttons are pressed or switches on seat pressed, just a clicking noise is heard from under the seat with no operation. Checked fuses for seats both are good. Passenger seat works just fine. What could cause this and if it is a motor issue, could I swap the motors from the passenger seat? I dont care if the passenger seat is stuck in its position if need be.

wish I could help with this, but I am stumped.

how about checking for an in-line fuse on motor connection or anything else loose under the seat?

good luck with this.  I'd be interested in the solution.

If it is a seat motor issue, I'd bet the passenger seat motors are interchangeable.

I'll look this weekend and see what I can find. Any tips on getting the seat out without motor operation if needed?
