Does anyone have information on the engine specs? Looking for the rebuilding specs, Valve stem diameters, Vale Spring free length & installed height, Crankshaft Main and Rod journal diameters, block main bore diameter, Piston Skirt Clearance, piston pin diameter, connecting rod big end bore size, small end bushing diameter, center to center distance?

Unfortunately, Porsche never published any of this information, so only serious M96/97 rebuilders like Jake Raby have developed their own specs, which they probably will not share.  Jake does, however, periodically offer an excellent class on rebuilding these engines where you could pick up the information you need,

Most really good machine shops know the specs - generally acquired from new parts and past experience.

The key thing to ask is how Porsche work do they do.
