Lost Radio Code - post your request here

Recommended Posts

Hi Loren - thanks for these codes but unfortunately neither have worked. I bought the Boxster directly from a Porsche dealer back in 2003. Soon after purchase a flat battery caused the radio to request a code. I contacted the dealer and the Sales Rep who sold me the car was able to give me the code almost immediately. I remember it being a very simple code. Does this info help you ?

I have a new program - want to try 0893

Hi Loren - third time lucky !!! I have music again....Many Thanks !

I have 2000 Boxster, I left the headlights on and the battery died.

Traffic pro nav stereo

Model: BE 4773

Serial no: 25005810

It’s 4 digits code and takes only digits from 1-7.

I paid for this online but the code given had 0’s and 9's which I cannot input.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Very odd to hear that a Traffic Pro is looking for a 4 digit code.

All traffic pros I've seen need a 5 digit code, yours would be 23111

I haven't come across your particular Becker model BE4773, but I'm suspecting a possible code

entry problem, or maybe some other defect.

I've sent you a PM, too see if we can discuss this further.

Bruce,

IT WORKED!

You are a Genius!

Thank you so much for helping out; you are right, it's five digit code.

I wasted my time and money on other web sites, this forum is awesome.

Cheers,

Vijay

Entered the wrong code 3 times (not the one you sent) and now it says Wait... so I can't try your code... know how I can reset the Wait?

Hi RapidMark

Your radio is time locked, through entering the code incorrectly three times.

You need to turn your ignition key to the accessory position (battery light showing in dash), and

power the radio ON, and leave undisturbed, without touching any buttons, otherwise the timer just

resets from the beginning.

Time required to reset is typically one hour.

When reset 'CODE' will again display, allowing you to enter another code.

Any problems, let me know how you get on.

Hi, could someone get me the code for this>

CDR 220

BE 6625

15001201

ec: 102

Try 8586 ..................

Hi Bruce, thanks for your help but the code unfortunately doesn't work. Do you have another? Thanks so much.

There's no other code for that serial number.

Firstly, I need you to re-check your serial number on the display, if its the same as you've quoted and you've got the radio removal keys,

remove the radio and verify the serial number printed on the label attached to metal casing.

Report on this status first, and I will be able to assist further.
