Lost Radio Code - post your request here

Recommended Posts

Hello, I recently purchased a 96' Targa, the radio card was missing at sale and I was not aware until I just now went to operate the radio. Its a CR-210, serial number is S5000302. I called Porsche to see if they would look the code up for me, and the manager told me that Porsche no longer provides older radio codes?
I tired using a radio code website for which I paid and I have yet to receive a code. If you could help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Edit: I got my hands on the code, thanks anyways

Hi Loren, do I need a code for a cdr23? BE6612 S/n 25018297

CDR-23 (or later):
These radios do not have a security code - that is, not that the user enters.
These radios are security tested on the MOST (fiber optic bus) system to see if they are the "programmed" radio. The radios are programmed and recognized by the car’s DME and can only be replaced by a shop with a PST2 or PIWIS. These radios will not request a code when battery power is disconnected.

Hello!

I have a CD220/CDR220. Model is 4462. My Serial Number is: X5021737

I just purchased the vehicle. No code card with the owners manual.

I need to unplug the radio to address the raining foam insulation through the HVAC system

Many thanks in advance,
Kevin S.

Hi Loren,

Juan, from Spain.

I am the proud owner of a Boxster 986 Manual shift MY97, and the other day I had a fantastic oportunity to buy another 986 tiptronic at a really nice price.

Could you be so kind to provide me with the radio code? I will do my best to do a nice restoration and keep another Boxster alive with his original radio.

Thanks very much in advance
