Hello,

New member here.

Recently I went into software version menu for the first time and discovered there are exclamation marks shown next to every component except Navigation (which is weird, since navigation is the only element that's currently not working as my OEM navigation DVD worn out).

Should I be worried about it? I've read somewhere that it happens when the PCM system has been replaced and not encoded properly, it can be done via PIWIS, but I'm not paying 400$ for the diagnostics just to change one thing. Anybody knows whether this can be done by local dealer?

I never fiddled with the software updates here, so it's kinda strange there are some errors. (Maybe a previous owner had the PCM replaced?)

I was also going to install latest 2015 DVD, but I've seen that the software version has to be compatible with it.

My current SW:

PCM: 06324AD1 / 3206
System Software: 06324AD1 / 3206
Amplifier (I have BOSE): 00016457 / 3804
CD Changer: C38 / 3003
Navigation System: 00174436 / 2906

I've got the same warning symbols on my PCM but my selector knob doesn't do anything when I try to select anything on the list, it just doesn't move, it stays on the PCM option(it doesn't move on any list u select) and when I push the set button it opens a list that's all blank for the PCM. I didn't get any discs at all for the PCM or navi with my used 2008 cayenne turbo. It has a steering faulty in red on the instrument cluster now too and the immobilizer is activated. I've had the relays on the steering lock module replaced but the message is still there. I'm going to try and replace the motor on the module too. And is the locking pin that goes into the hall sensor supposed to be a little loose or is it supposed to be tight and not move at all? I've read somewhere that I can dismiss the steering faulty code with the PCM but mine has all those warning ⚠️ symbols and won't move to select anything other than the top option. I can't get it to reset by holding down the info button for 10 seconds either. I still have the CD and disc changer and radio working and sub but no sound option or audio options. Those 2 buttons do nothing at all. The a/v button when pushed says there is no a/v. The closest dealer is 2 hours away and the car is immobilized in my driveway. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
