Hi,

I have a little problem with my fuel lid... (it's very difficult to explain especially when english isn't your mother tongue but i'll try...)

There is a black plastic part (like a grommet) that guides the stem that locks the lid. That part has been removed. At side of the stem there is another smaller stem with a ring at the end ... The only thing is I don't know where it goes... (maybe around the bigger stem...). Somebody can help me ... ?

Here is what I see (the black plastic part around the stem is removed) :

Thank you very much Loren ! :notworthy:

My grenade diagram was not so bad !!

The part number 2 is the black plastic one that has been removed.

Well in fact... I still don't understand where the part with the ring goes and what it is (number 1).

In your diagram (right side) item 1 is the emergency operation cable. Item 2 is a guide rose and item 3 is the electric actuator.

The guide rose goes in the body to guide the actuator arm. Here are two images - in the first one it shows it how it should look. In the second shot I am holding the rubber bumper stop out of the way so you can see the rose and actuator better.

Ok, my diagram (left side) shows what I see without the guide rose (i.e. the emergency operation cable (with the ring at the end) and the actuator).

Does the ring of the emergency operation cable goes around the actuator like this ?

One more time many thanks Loren for your interest !
