  3. Problem is that on a 997-1 the rear lights are controlled by control unit. It might take just a recode.
  4. Why not use the 997-1 aerokit wire harness? It's made for a fixed rear wing. 997.612.670.71 aerokit rear wing wiring harness

  6. You would still need Durametric or a Porsche diagnostic tool (PST2 or PIWIS) to clear a cluster fault code.
  7. As JFP said get diagnostic assistance... A new cluster is over $3400 the sensor on the on the tank is about $33 the sensor on the engine is about $30 and that is just the parts not labor. Of course it could also be a broken wire or loose connection. Best not to guess it can get very expensive very fast.

  9. In most cases the gauges self-zero (as long as it is not damaged) - but the proper way to reset the needle is to remove it and press it back on at the correct setting.
  10. Just run it - most readings should work. Fuel gauge will be off since Turbo has the split saddle bag fuel tank, boost will not register, and of course the gauges will have higher limits on the speedo and tach. OBC should work if it is turned on in your car and you have the fourth steering wheel stalk.

  12. In theory no as the clusters for those model years are very close. But then your can will not have any input for the boost setting so it may be off or give erratic readings.

  15. Not a good move - programming new keys can be done in under 1 hour by any good Porsche shop with the proper Porsche diagnostic tools and your car's IPAS codes. It has been covered here many times. If the EEPROM was not damaged then it should be able to be re-programmed using a Porsche PST2 or Porsche PIWIS - as long as an OPC/dealer can acquire your car's IPAS codes. You will likely have to have the car flat-bedded to an OPC/or dealer and admit your mistake. If the EEPROM is damaged then you are likely looking at a new alarm/immobilizer control box -- plus reprogramming time.
