  1. That is not a valid radio model - is this in a Porsche? If so, what year and model please? Thank you for your reply and time! This is a Porsche/Becker Mini Disc CD changer system. It is a 911/966 2001 European model. Regards, Terje The CD Changer does not need a serial number to operate. Please READ and follow the procedure in the Lost Radio code FAQ for your exact radio model.
  2. That is not a valid radio model - is this in a Porsche? If so, what year and model please?
  3. Try 9086
  4. The seat heaters fuse is on the Current Distributor panel (behind the glove box under the dash)
  5. Try 8509
  6. Please READ and follow the instructions to display your serial number in the Lost Radio Code FAQ. Then post your ONE serial number here.
  7. Try 0356
  8. Every cluster needs to be programmed to the car. You will need a PST2 or PIWIS to do this. OBC will need to be turned on in the cluster as well as model type settings, etc.
  9. Try 4584
  10. :welcome: 1. You need a new battery. 2. check for corroded (rusty) grounds in the tail lights. Fairly common on Cayennes'.
  11. Radio model please? (CDR-220, CDR-22, etc) I dont know the model sorry, it is old 1999 boxter becker 1 type 4367 That would be a CR-22 Try 0693
  12. Radio model please? (CDR-220, CDR-22, etc)
  13. Have you added or removed anything from the MOST (fiber optic) network recently? If so, then you may need to re-code the system to identify all of the units on the MOST bus. Does your car have the Harman amplifier? If so, have you checked it's fuse (D9). Or your may just have a faulty CDR-23. There are a number of MOST diagnostic test that Porsche diagnostic tools (PST2, PIWIS, PIWIS 2) can run but I doubt Durametric can. Your best (least expensive) solution may be to find a shop with a Porsche tool and run the full MOST diagnostics to narrow down the problem.
  14. Try 9032
  15. Please READ and follow the instructions in the Lost Radio Code FAQ. This topic is now closed.
  16. Yes, the latest cables are interchangeable and should work fine. 986 424 041 10 Cable -- US MSRP $393.00
  17. On PIWIS you can run individual module tests - so you would just skip the PCM tests.
  18. I guess you could disconnect the wire from the alternator (battery disconnected) and then check the resistance of the the B+ wire to chassis ground. If the resistance is low you have a bad short somewhere. Any third party add-ons or other electrical changes that might have caused this?
  19. Try 0195
  20. B+ is the Black wire coming off the alternator. This is the main power for the start and the other electrical circuits. So check your alternator and starter connections as well as your chassis grounds.
  21. 1494 Parking light bulb, left Possible causes: - 'Short circuit to B+' Continuous lighting of side light bulb(s) can only be diagnosed when side light is switched off . - 'Short circuit to ground' Failure of side light bulb(s) can only be diagnosed when side light is switched on, fuse may be faulty - 'Open circuit/short circuit to B+' Continuous lighting of bulb(s) in the event of a'short circuit to B+', can only be diagnosed when side light is switched on. - 'Open circuit/short circuit to B+' No lighting of bulb(s) in the event of a'disconnection', can only be diagnosed when side light is switched on A direct short could cause the 1117 fault but best check the alternator connections (battery disconnected) also.
  22. How old is your battery? If it is 4 plus years old I would replace it. Cayenne's do some pretty strange stuff when the battery is weak.
  23. As I said you may have the wrong harness - either from a repair or accident. Mine also has 7 pins/wires.
  24. Not really that I have seen. I think there is less mass (weight) on the 3 spoke due to retaining support's triangular design.
