  1. Unless the aftermarket unit specifically says that it supports that function - I would not expect it to.
  2. You will still need a PST2 or PIWIS to update the new radio serial number in the DME.
  3. Sorry, you did not read the Lost Radio Code FAQ... "CDR-23 (or later): These radios do not have a security code - that is, not that the user enters. These radios are security tested on the MOST (fiber optic bus) system to see if they are the "programmed" radio. The radios are programmed and recognized by the car’s DME and can only be replaced by a shop with a PST2 or PIWIS. These radios will not request a code when battery power is disconnected."
  4. Sorry, a software update had turned Donations off. Fixed now. Try 5281
  5. Try 7107 for Number 1 Try 0214 for Number 2 Please consider a donation to keep this site alive.
  6. That diagram is from a much newer car. Perhaps if you told us the donor car year and model...
  7. From the Lost Radio Code FAQ...
  8. Stage 1 and stage 2 fans are the front radiator fans. The engine compartment purge fan is in the engine compartment. So for the front radiator fans - are you sure both are not running at stage 1 (low speed) or is perhaps just one side? For the engine compartment fan I would check the connector first. Not unheard of but unusually for the actual engine compartment fan to fail since it is rarely on.
  9. That would be the hard way IMHO. Cobb and some other companies have a tool to swap back and forth reliably.
  10. As JFP said... plus if you do flash make sure it can removed and put back to stock. That should get you out of readiness issues and any other smog regulations.
  11. Why don't you use the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ to get your radio serial number (displayed - not the one on the label). Get me that serial number Iand I will look it up and see what it says the code is. If it is the same then you will likely need to repair or replace the radio. If it is different the you can try the new code....
  12. Sorry, you did not read the Lost Radio Code FAQ... "Can you give me a code for my PCM? These units are manufactured jointly by Siemens and Becker, and the only place where you can get the codes required is from the dealer/OPC. The PCM’s require two codes, the ICS/Siemens code, and a Becker code. The ICS is the first code requested. Sorry, the only place you can get a PCM code is from a dealer/OPC."
