  1. Thanks but we are still shooting in the dark here. Any fault codes? If so, please post them here. Any modifications or recent changes?
  2. Do you know what the exact fault code was - or can you get it. There are several sensors.
  3. Things that come to mind... Weak battery or battery drain? Bad starter or starter solenoid Intermittent CPS (Crankshaft Position Sensor)

  6. Yes, it should pretty dead on. You will need Wurth clear coat over the silver.
  7. No, you will need a PST2 or PIWIS and IPAS codes for your car. Any shop with the diagnostic tool and you would need to get IPAS codes from a dealer/OPC.

  9. You either have damaged wire harness or a bad shifter valve. Do a search here as others have replaced just one solenoid valve.
  10. If 9104 does not work then chances are your radio has been repaired by a 3rd party (not Becker) - in that case I can not help you. Sorry...
  11. Did you use the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ to get the correct serial number?

  13. Take the speaker bezel off and remove the screws...
  14. Unbolt the plate and the DME and relay panel are on the other side.

  17. Yes, or if the seats were removed without disconnecting the battery.

  19. It is always helpful to list the exact model and year of your car.
  20. You want a switched source - only on when the ignition is on. The lighter is always on. There is a connector in the center lower console that has +12VDC always on, +12VDC switched, and ground. That is your best source. Do a search here that connector has been discussed many many times.
