  1. Mark the existing pedals with new pedal holes. Drill holes in the existing pedals. Fasten the new pedals to old pedals with the supplied screws.
  2. All Contributing Members have access to ALL the TSBs ;) ;)
  3. Odd that they didn't catch both since the DME stores all codes not just the last one. P1539 should not have anything to do with a MAF failure. What was the previous code? P1539 Camshaft Adjustment, Bank 2 Fault Conditions: Actuator triggered, no active position. Fault Area: - Open circuit in triggering wire. - Open circuit in B+ supply. - Actuator faulty.
  4. If you have a beep when the alarm is set then there is a zone that is open. Common causes are open or broken microswitch in the center console storage, broken microswitch in the front or rear trunks, and on MY03 and later cars the glovebox.
  5. I got both of mine at a hardware store. The tubing is commonly called aquarium tubing. I also got a 50 cc syringe with a flat needle (looks like a steel tube) at a hardware store also. I think they said it was for oiling ceiling fans, etc. The syringe (and tubing) should be cleaned well afterwards.
  6. IMHO... no, not much. The older small style maybe a little raspier vs. the new one that may be a little deeper. I have only heard the old style on a 3.4 and most of the newer style are on 3.6 liter cars. Either way they are pretty close.
  7. The full PSE kit is 000 044 200 21 and will fit any model year.
  8. 996 333 531 12 is the correct rear spring for a RoW M030 MY00 C4 Cab with specific VIN numbers. Chances are that the folks at Sunset ordered by your VIN - so they should be correct. Front shock marking: White means Standard Running gear RoW/US Green means Sport-type running gear RoW/US Rear shock marking: Brown means Standard Running gear RoW/US Green means Sport-type running gear RoW Grey means Sport-type running gear US

  11. 000 044 200 21 is the newer larger PSE. So unless they mixed up their stock it should be the large bypass type - that will work on all model year Carrera's. ... looks like they used the picture of an old one though...
  12. Those part numbers are just the mufflers. They will fit any 3.4 liter Carrera and default to always open (loud). I have those on my car with no electronics and vacuum stuff. I do not think they are too loud - just the way Porsche's are supposed to sound. ;) Full part numbers should be: 996 111 984 00 Main muffler, left with flap 996 111 985 00 Main muffler, right with flap
  13. I think the larger diameter bypass exhaust was designed for the 3.6 and it's improved VarioCam Plus and new cylinder heads. You can use the newer (larger bypass) on the older (3.4 liter) cars but not the smaller ones on the 3.6 liter cars. It was in a warning in the parts list. There is also a warning in the install TSB to never mix the old and new style - so the back pressure must be quite different.
  14. The older (oldest) PSE with the smaller bypass tubes should NOT be used on a 3.6 liter engine - per Porsche.
  15. My aerokit was factory installed. There is a TSB for the aerokit install that includes the rear spoiler. Make sure you have the new rear spoiler electrical harness so your spoiler light won't stay on all the time.
  16. 996 555 083 03 ERN Cover Convertible (metropole blue) - Retail $296.19
  17. It is the same on a Boxster, Carrera, TT and GT3. I'll send you a PM.
  18. Door - Insert a narrow screwdriver from above in front of the clip arrow A, press the fastening lug in direction of arrow B and hold, and carefully pull off the filler flap 1 upwards. Hinge - Insert the removal tool at the locking lugs on the left and right and lift via the locking lugs, remove the plastic hinge 2 in direction of arrow from the filler flap 1.

Retail price $838.01 Be sure and check folks like Sunset Imports (Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost) for better prices. I always quote list here so folks won't be shocked when they go to their dealer. For the cab rear deck... do you mean item 1? If so, what color? I think MY99 had some color limits...
