  1. I am having issues with my heater warming up. I have changed the thermostat and flushed the system. All signs are pointing to a heater valve but I can't find its location on my 97 Boxster. Any ideas or diagrams you can refer me to? Thanks in advance.
  2. My car was made in April 1997. Apparently, early model Boxsters only come with 8 pin actuators. I replaced the driver side actuator and now I am having the issue of both windows rolling all the way down when I open the driver side door. I also replaced the convertible top latch switch hoping that could have solved the problem but no luck. Any ideas?
  3. Hello, I just received a driver's side (L) door lock mechanism replacement for my 1997 Porsche Boxster. However, the wiring harnesses/connectors are different. Everything else is exactly the same. Please see attached photos. Any recommendations? Maybe an adapter? The part number is worn off of the old one but the numbers I do see are different, PA 66 30% GF (new), PA 66 30 FG< (old) Any ideas would be much appreciated.
  4. Hello, Recently disconnected my battery and need help with a radio code. Radio: CDR 210 Type:2896 Serial: V5007961 Thank in advance!
  5. Thanks, JFP, but the fuses are good. And I'm not sure a fuse will mechanically prevent the lever from going up or down as mentioned in my original post. Any thoughts on what might do that?
  6. Hello all, I am a new/used Porsche Boxster owner. I have a 1997 Boxster and having issues operating the windshield wipers. I cannot get the wiper lever to mechanically go up or down in order to operate the windshield wipers. When I activate the wiper fluid, the wipers do not work. No sound from the wiper motor, no movement at all from the blades, nothing. Is the wiper lever supposed to go up and down? If not, what am I doing wrong? From, The FNG
  7. Loren, I am new to the Porsche community and I am having issues with my windshield wipers not working for my 1997 Boxster. The wiper lever on the turn signal/cruise control/wiper control unit does not mechanically move up or down when trying to turn on the wipers. What am I doing wrong?
